Originally purchased from a 1920's era Sears & Roebuck catalog, our beautifully restored bed and breakfast sits in the heart of the Long Beach Peninsula. On the edge of Ocean Park and just within the boundaries of Nachotta, our inn overlooks Willapa Bay and the Wildlife Refuge of Long Island. Seven miles to the North you will find Leadbetter Point Wildlife Refuge, home to bear, deer and many varieties of birds. Hiking trails lead to the ocean beach and the bay. Easily within biking distance is historic Oysterville. The Oysterville school house still stands and is the site of the Jazz and Oyster Festival held each August. Many weddings and Sunday vespers are held in the beautifully preserved Oysterville church.
Once settled in your spacious room, you may see Bald Eagles fishing for their morning meal, or deer grazing in the field in front of our home. Osprey and Great Blue Heron frequently fly overhead.
Spend your afternoons on the back deck watching the koi and goldfish swimming in the pond or watch the many varieties of wild birds that eat at the feeders that fill the yard. Read a magazine in one of the hammocks or just take a nap. In the evening, you may enjoy roasting marshmallows over the firepit in the backyard. Walk a short distance into the center of Nachotta and purchase fresh oysters to grill for your dinner.
