Lose your cares as you bask in the beauty and serenity of Alsea Bay. A glorious view with abundant wildlife, the quiet is punctuated by the sounds of wings on the water as flocks of birds take off and land. Situated on a bluff overlooking the bay, you look down on the daily migration of geese to and from nearby pastures. It is in these pastures the elk and deer are seen best, though they frequent the lowlands along the edge of the bay. On occasion, the resident bald eagles are seen fishing for salmon in competition with the seals, watched by the heron or pelican perched on driftwood. Bring your camera for the breathtaking sunsets that paint the bay and sky with indescribable colors.
Initially a small cabin, this home has been remodeled through the years until the most recent makeover into an inviting and attractive getaway. Traditionally a gathering place of friends and family for rest and recreation, this retreat is now available to you. There is a lovely bedroom with bay view, ample closet space and a queen bed. A large room with a queen and full bed also has a view of the bay and the gardens. In the living room, the comfy Futon can be used as an additional bed. For your comfort, there is a bath and a half. This home is equipped to fulfill your desire to barbecue on the deck or cook in the large kitchen, dance or just listen to your CD's or tapes, or watch movies on the VCR. View the wildlife from inside the large bay window or out on the deck, curl up with a good book, take a nap, or play with the cards and games provided.
