There are some terrific sites to visit in this area. South of Long Beach is Fort Canby State Park, North Head Lighthouse and Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. Cape Disappointment has the Lewis & Clark Interpretative Center that details the historical journey, the lighthouse and other relics from times of war and history.
